Tomatoes, Tomatoes, and Blueberries

Bread from Ma Bakery

Spread on it: шмеркезе [ shmerke’ze] - mix of cheeses, spices & mayo

On top: sun dried tomatoes and olives with thyme 

Vitamins: cherry tomatoes and rucola leaves

Dip: blueberry confiture 

The sandwich was prepared for the photographer’s visit  - the interview will be published in the March issue.

Weiss Lunch 

Basis: homemade bread 

Spread on it: slices of camembert 

On top: fresh rucola leaves and coconut flakes 

On the side: cherry tomatoes, dried cherries and cashew

Drink: Vedett, weiss beer 

The yellow lunchbox contains exactly the same, except cherry tomatoes that couldn’t fit in. The extra box is for the Bacchus magazine editor, Rositsa, and she totally loved her lunchy bites. 

The photographer didn’t make it for our meeting today, so next week she will shoot another lunch and it will be the one to accompany the interview. 

Get closer to the coconut flakes. 

Omelet or Omelette?

Basis: homemade bread with wholewheat flour, white flour, a pinch of brown sugar and pink salt, oil and weast

Omelette: 1 and 1/2 eggs,  mozzarella, some 3.2% fat milk, Himalayan salt, sesame,fresh white pepper

On the side: green pepper sticks and tomatoes

Perfect Match

Basis: vollkorn bread

Spread on it: English mustard

Proteins: maasdam cheese and pork fillet

Veggies: capers and slices of avocado hidden underneath

On the side: olives

Recommendation: a tomato salad will match it perfectly.

Corny Sandwich

Basis: corn bread from the Caramel bakery, 5 Chernomen Str in Sofia

Inside of it: Italian spec

On the side: tomato with parsley and a few capers

Big and late breakfast

Crumbled Firm Tofu, Macadamia, Coriander and Parsley mix on a bed of Lettuce, Tomato and Cucumber salad. Accompanied by Kalamata Olive and Rosemary bread.

Lazy lunch at work - Blueberries and Cigarettes. She also sent me a picture of that but I would not encourage her smoking. You’re a bad girl, Ella!

Sandwich #1: wheat ciabatta, Polish pâté with mushrooms, heart-cut Gouda slices, homemade blueberries sauce

Sandwich #2: wheat ciabatta, butter and a puree of capers and olives, marinated Black sea anchovies, green pepper

On the side: a tomato, fresh carrot sticks, and hot green pepper
